ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Families now have more flexible ways to get kids the food and nutrition they need during summer with the SUN Meals To-Go program. Now you can pick up FREE summer meals and snacks for your kids. Free meal boxes in Maryland are open to any child aged 1-18 - no application needed.
You don’t need to apply for SUN Meals To Go. Every child is welcome to receive meals from our free meal sites in Maryland.
Our boxes provide 7 days of breakfast and lunch. You may not pick up food boxes from more than one location in a single week.
FAQs
Who is eligible for free food?
Free food boxes in Maryland are open to all children under the age of 18. However, adults must pick up for the children.
What is in the free food box?
Each free meal box includes grains, proteins, vegetables, and other items that meet USDA nutrition standards.
Do I need to live in the town where meals are distributed?
No, you may live anywhere and go to any location. However, you may only pick up the meals once per week. (You may not get multiple boxes for the same child.)
Does my child have to come with me?
No, the children do not need to come to pick up your free meals. A parent or guardian may pick up the food box for children.
Do I need to register?
No registration or documents are needed to get free meals. Simply drive in and tell the staff how many children.

Unfortunately we cannot deliver.
